Kennel Dee-Fair was founded in the late 1970s, and we registered our kennel
name in 1980.
Over the years we have attached importance to good temperament, health, breed
and hunting qualities.
Shows and field trials have been important activities which have contributed to
the improvement of our breeding stock over the years.

We got our first Labrador bitch in the late 70s.
Her name was Spica - a perfect sporting dog,
but not so much of a beauty.

Repartee

In 1979 we got Sandylands Repartee from
Gwen Broadley, Sandylands Kennel. She is
the basis for our subsequent breeding.
In the early 1980s we got DK.Ch. Bjørn, who
was bred by Hanne Kongsted according to
sound Danish breeding, which goes back to
Sandylands.

In 1980 we got a giant lift at our kennel when
we became co-owners of Sandylands Night
Flight
- a big gesture from Gunilla Andersson,
Kennel Aroscas in Sweden.

"Flight" got to be of great breeding value for us
with his good hereditary characteristics.
